Salty Paws East End Long Island
 

Every once in awhile, you are lucky enough to merge your work expertise with one of your life's passions and open a business. That is exactly what Janet has been able to do by opening the first mobile dog ice cream and bakery truck on Long Island called Salty Paws East End Long Island.

Janet grew up Speonk, NY. It was there she landed her first job at a local hardware store and discovered that she had a real knack for retail. Over the next three decades, she has successfully opened and managed numerous retail stores ups and down the east coast. 

​

Having grown up with several Irish Setters, Janet has always had a passion for dogs. When she read about then novel idea of a mobile dog ice cream and bakery business, she knew this would be perfect for her. On the East End of Long Island where she lives with her family near so many dog-friendly vineyards, breweries, distilleries, festivals and dog rescue events she realized  it would be the ideal place to run it!

When Janet is not busy providing unique experiences for families and their fur babies, she can be found having fun with her own dogs on her boat or near the beach on both the North and South Fork's of Long Island.
